"Weezy’s Movin On Up Café Jazz & BBQ" so named by owner Sanford in memory
of his mother Isabel Sanford who was an Emmy
Award-winning actress most known
for her role as Louise "Weezy" Jefferson.
Born and raised in
Detroit, Steve has been on the music scene for many years. His resume is vast;
he's worked with artists such as George Clinton, Teddy Riley, Keith Sweat, and
Sleepy Brown just to name a few. Currently residing in the ATL, Steve hones his
skills by performing around the metro Atlanta area with the likes of Reggie
Hines, Antoine Knight, Tammy Allen, Hudson On Bass, Ken Ford, Melvin Miller,
Gary Harris and Planet Jazz, among many others. He also tours as keyboardist
with Sleepy Brown of OutKast.

are proud to present Saxophonist Reggie Hines. Reggie Hines, a diverse and
explosive instrumentalist, born and raised as a New Yorker, has come full circle
in his musical career. His debut CD, “Do You See What I See” is a true testament
of his musical abilities, infusing various genres of music with jazz. In his
most recent endeavor, Reggie has returned to his musical roots. His latest
release is an inspirational jazz CD filled with Reggie's rendition of
traditional, contemporary and uplifting songs that are sure to provide
encouragement, inspiration and soothe your soul. Reggie performs live concerts
around Atlanta among many other major cities in the US and abroad.
